Pari Mokradi (he/they) is a South Asian artist and writer of Indian origin from West Bengal, now based as a settler in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples. Their interdisciplinary practice explores land and belonging through community-based approaches rooted in-between identities, ancestral knowledge, and lived experience.

Passionate about grassroots collaboration, Pari engages in local workshops and mentorships, including Professional Artistic Growth Made Accessible, the Downtown Eastside Writers Collective, and Centre A Gallery.

Their recent recognitions include the Aruna D’Souza Award (2024), the Sandy Cameron Memorial Award (2024), and First Prize at the Surrey Art Gallery Juried Exhibition (2023).
